Took the morning off work to fish Quonni with Keith T.
We started off in the fog and after trying a few different baits, I hooked a nice 3.5-lber on a Mattlures trout swimbait:
Tossed my jig for a while and got a few small fish,..then this one that weighed only 2.5 although it had the mouth of a 4-lber,..looked kind of ill and scrawny though!
Finished up the morning with one more on the swimbait. Another 3.5-lber,..that pulled really hard and made me think it was bigger!
Meanwhile Keith was the numbers guy. He caught a bunch of fish,..no bass, but he said that as long as it's not a tourney that the pickeral still "count"! He did manage one bass that was slightly larger than his spinnerbait,..but he gave it the quick release before I could get a pic!
Nice fishing with you Keith,..we'll get the bigguns next time! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

Nice fish Mark, congrats! Man that background in the 1st pic kinda looks eeerie. Reminds me of the movie The Shining when Jack Nicholson was in the maze at the end. _________________ Eat, Sleep, Fish......I Love my SKEETER ZX225!!!

Nice Job Marc!!!!
I might have to make the trip to Quonni to check this place out..
If and when I do I'll stop by your office so you can highlight my DEP book as to where the hot spots are.

No problem,...but note that I was showing keith where to fish in person and it didn't help too much!! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."
