Looking to hit up c-wood for the first time ever this Sunday. I have a limited number of hours and need some help as to what parts of the lake are my best chance for some smallies. It's such a big lake and with my little 16ft deep V it would be nice to have some ideas.
Thanks,
Steve |

Steve, I was out there friday, seems like the baitfish arent really balled up and deep yet, but there are some great lookin weeds, I think these smallies are scattered and are not in there wolf pack form, but soon as this water dips a little more it will happen, I found baitfish in 10 to 14 feet of water but didnt see any really balled up deep, maybe they are but I didnt see it, just get out there turn on your depth finder and go hunting in all depths, I caught smallies in 14ft of water on friday Oct 8, if your just out there fun fishin, try trolling a wiggle wart around |
