Hit Woodridge yesterday with a buddy. It's a private lake in Goshen. Slow but worth it. My buddy had two nice ones in the box before my first hook up. He got them on a double dipped watermelon colored tube. I was throwing blades.
The wind was out of the northwest, blowin pretty good. We just used the trolling motor to keep us in the right direction. Finally I got my first hook-up. A nice fat 41/2lber. Nice fish, the kind you can grab with four fingers and a thumb. Did I say Fat. My biggest fish since June. Attempted to take a picture not once but twice. Not sure what happened but they didint come out.....at all. Sorry. We did the drift thing all the way from north to south on the west side bank. Oicked up my second, a nice 2 lb small jaw that was pissed he got hooked. He came up crossed eyed, a beautiful colored fish.
Head back up to the northeast corner to drift the eastern shore. We were moving pretty good, the wind was pretty squirley. At made a cast into a colvert looking deal. Couldnt had been more that a foot of water. A swirl and then bang!! 3lber Nice. This one had some spunk way skinnier.
My buddy got on a few more throwin a small crank bait on a spinning rod. I threw the same spinnerbait all day.

We decided to call it at around 2pm. Well, I figured one more cast at the launch while the wizard was getting the truck. Another fiesty smallie that put on a show for some of the fans. A nice ending. Sorry for the no pic report. Maybe I'll get one of those hat cam things. We probably had 10 keepers, all bass. No junk fish, pickeral or Musky. I had a great week of fishing, the thumb is pretty raw.

My Uncle lives there, he caught a tiger musky a few years ago. It was hugh...!

It was as long as you leg. I'll see if I still have the picture.
