Hi, I might be taking my old bass boat that i'm selling to the wethersfeild dmv to get a vin check on the trailer on friday, if so I'm thinking of hitting the wethersfield cove up for a few hours, so i'm just trying to find out if the launch is open and if it costs anything to launch? There are smallies in the cove right? or should i go up the river? Ive never been there so any info would be much appreciated _________________ this fish here is a real donkey!!! |

Parking area was flooded halfway today, so there's an extremely shallow launch situation. I waded out about 40-50 feet and the water level was only at my knees. No cost to launch though! _________________ Kira

I've been to Wethersfield Cove a couple of times this year and there has never been an attendant on duty to collect any fees. Just don't forget to check the tide tables before you head out of there. The entrance to Keeney Cove is just past the bridge on the left (i.e., east) side of the river as you head downriver. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

You waded through that? Ugh, you're braver than me. That place is disgusting. I've never seen a more polluted area (well at least right behind the DMV). _________________ J.P. |

I was wearing waders. That's what they're for. _________________ Kira
