Went to my private land hunting spot to do a little scouting. Brought my pole as well. Walked for a bit, saw a lot of sign. Decided to get out of the woods and do a little fishing. Turned out to be a lot of catching. By far the best day ever!! I caught fish on every cast it seemed. If one got off, another fish bit. Truly unbelievable!! No monster fish my biggest was a nice fat 3 lber. Most were all keepers ranging between a pound and 2 lbs. I walked the pond twice catching 3-4 fish in the same areas. The bite was ferocious!! I felt like Bill Dance. Lost track of how many....Maybe 30 or so in the hour I was there. All on a spinnerbait Chart/wht dbl willow. The dinner bell was ringing I guess. It was fun. |
