hey i fish off my canoe and want to know if anyone knows any good ponds that canoes are aloud and have good fishing. i have done ball pond Which is really good fishing most of the time but starting to get boring, kenosia , and hunington state park which is nice pickeral. so if anyone knows any spot please let me know, if you want. thanks.

I assume that you're out in the western part of the state and are looking for smaller ponds. I've fished Ball Pond before. I haven't checked it out, yet, but I've heard that Mount Tom Pond in Litchfield holds some big largemouth bass. If you fish it, please post a report.

mt.tom ,burr pond,dog pond,tyler lake just to mention a few.ALL have good bass fishing with the possibility of a bigin.

mamanasco in ridgefield, ct. hit the lake ~4 years ago with my son and picked up 15 in 2 hours. nothing large but it was fun catching them!

candlewood in a canoe?!?! better get out early or stay late because that lake gets rough with all the boat traffic!

uncas in lyme and pataconk in chester are also good.
