I didn't even try for trout on opening day. You and your 70 friends claimed that entire half of the pond first so I attempted to catch bass instead. Your "insults" are about as effective as "yo momma" jokes.

What kind of moron is going to fish for trout in 5 feet of water, when it was obvious (by the 70 boats crammed into the deeper side) that my chance of catching a trout was impossible? Is your GF ever gonna take the shock collar off you and let you fish with me or what?

Kira - Bass Sniper and Flipper will be together on the Botany Bay on Sunday. I'm a minimum security prisoner. My warden, ahem, wife trusts me. Very Happy

Phil, you're a lucky guy. Trust & communication are the most important things in a relationship. It would stand to reason that my husband should be the one most wary of my fishing habits, but guess what? He knows I've been into it for almost 30 years, he knows I appreciate the freedom to fish with others, and he trusts me to use my gang weapons on anyone who implies I'm there to do anything other than catch fish and make friends. My hubby is welcome to hang out with your wife/GF while we fish - inquire within (I hope your vacuum is in working order and she knows how to play Madden.)

My love for fishing comes with no ulterior motives. I do it alone, I go at night, I think about it constantly, I go through withdrawals when several days have passed. I enjoy good company & good conversation, but if you have to sneak around or lie just to fish with me then don't bother. This is a therapeutic, relaxing activity for me and it doesn't deserve to have any drama attached. I'm willing to meet your significant others if they're slightly concerned about you having a female fishing partner. I don't even care what you look like or your relationship status, as long as you act like a gentleman & can cast without hooking me. We can all learn from each other, and the best way to do that is on the water.

And while that really is me in my profile pic, don't think I look presentable all the time. After no sleep, no makeup, and being rained on I probably have the sex appeal of a homeless junkie who spent a rough night in a sewer.

Personally, I think BS is afraid to get outfished by me. I know we'd get along just fine if his woman even lets him out of his (trout) cage.

Phil, I'll see you in the morning - looks like we're supposed to have nice weather & 5 mph winds. I've heard that one before - bring an anchor! Laughing

Truely not worried about being outfished, and am on no sort of leash, its just that id rather fish with SeaDog than have the skunk that follows you around start to follow me around too....

Hi!

WHOA Exclamation

BS -> Your starting to get nasty AGAIN!

Don't bring me into your verbal tiff !
Besides I don't target or fish for Bass at ALL!
I prefer to go for fish that are good to eat!

All summer I've been fishing for Kokanee Salmon at WH!
Fabulous cooked, grilled, or smoked!

Now I'm into Crappies, Yellow Perch, and some Trout.
Ice fishing I target all of the above + Big BlueGills, Pickerel, Pike, and Smelt.
Yes! Pickerel and Pike are sweet delicious white meat fish and super if you know how to fillet the Y bones out!
(I do not keep anything out of the Housy!)

Best regards,
SeaDog1[/b]

Guess I missed quite a conversation last night! Kira -while you are absolutely right about the whole relationship thing it is extremely difficult to find 2 people that trust each other and are faithfull with that kind of freedom. You and your hubby are both very lucky. I truely hope that yours is not 1 of the 60% of marriages that don't last - and it sounds like it won't be.
Personally I guess I am not secure enough myself because there is no way in hell I would let my wife hang out with some other dude! Stick a dead perch in front of a lazy pike and it's only a matter of time untill she eats it - even if she's full. Confused So I guess it's a MUTUAL respect (lack of trust) thing. Honestly, I would feel guilty spending time w/ another woman, anyway, unless it was the name of my new kayak (Phil) Very Happy
Any way, back to fishing. I propose a little tourney. Flipper and Sniper vs all yakkers that have the hoohaas to take us on! Pike only - winners shall be called Pike Kings on this website from now till eternity. Razz Any takers? Cool
