fished from 10:30 to 12:30 and picked up 7 lmb. all on jigs and all in the northeast corner of the lake off the deep weed edge (except 1 tiny one in front of the camp).

from the ramp i immediately went to the deep weed edge (7-10') and started fishing counterclockwise. quickly picked up a 1.5 lb'r after about 15 minutes. picked up 2 more (2.8 and 2.2 lbs) near the floating dock. i almost got another large one and lost it on the 2nd jump. stupid me didn't retie and immediately broke my line on another).

picked up 3 more in front of the 1st beach (2.9 and 2 ~1.5 lbs) on about 6 casts. that was an incredible 1st hour...

fished to the second beach...nothing. so i cruised over to the camp. other then picking up the dink, nothing. fished a little of the west edge, nothing.

it rained a little and stopped, a breeze picked up and stopped. it was like this for the 2 hours... calm before the storm!

I was going to head over to Bantam River today, but got stuck at home. I'm glad that someone was able to take advantage of the fine fishing weather that we have today. I've never been to Cedar Lake. Did you get any photos? Also, what were you throwing?

Same with me I have so many pictures of 3 pound bass (between 17-19 inches) they all look exactly the same. Now I set the requirements to 20 inches for a picture.

Well, I really meant photos of Cedar Lake, but I guess I'm one of the few who takes photos of the scenery. . . .

Phil I'll share a few of mine from this year's fishing excursions. On my facebook I have a whole album dedicated to scenery, and winter time is the best for sunsets.

Mountains at West Twin

Sunrise at Bantam and Bantam usually has the best

Sunset in April on a small lake

Winchester at the SPOT

Nobody better steal these for post cards I will find out and find you on the water...

I still can't believe that Turtlekiss fished Winchester Lake for the first time at night in heavy winds! You're insane, Kira!

Those are terrific photos, Pete. Thanks!

a picture of lake fork, tx. i have taken multiple trips to the place in the past 8 years. this picture doesn't do it justice. there are many more trees and 10 times as many stumps just under the surface of the water! it is a scary feeling getting hung up on a stump!

largest i caught was a 9.5 lb'r. my brother got an 11.5 lb'r 30 minutes after i got mine!

Since everyone is sharing...here's a pic from next to the bridge in Hampton NH where I usually take my cod trips from. This was sunrise at about 5:00am when we were heading out to the fishing grounds.
