I fished a lot many years ago - LMB. Then we had kids, and unfortunately I couldn't get them into fishing so I sold the dinghy and my gear got buried underneath all the other stuff in the basement. Now that the kids are out of the house and done with their sports, I am getting back into fishing. I dug out my gear and bought a kayak about a month ago. I've been using it mostly on Middle Bolton Lake in late afternoon's...tough fishing time, but I am out fishing so I am happy. Will be looking to try Lower Bolton as well as other lakes in the area once it gets a little cooler and the powerboaters and jet skiers start to take a break. Getting used to fishing in a constant state of drifting has been an experience. Not catching much size, but still trying to find the more productive spots on that lake. Using mostly dark colored 5" Senkos and spinnerbaits. I've been reading the postings here and gotten a lot of good information, so I thought I would join. |

I've heard that largemouth bass in Middle Bolton stay pretty deep. Try a drop shot in the middle of the first cove from the launch.

That's as good a reason to join than any and although i know nothing about the sweet water down there these guys know their $hit. I also like to see people return the intel. so those that could use advise will learn.
