It's in the SW corner of the lake on the W shore. Just look for this duck:

just put 1 east shore drive morris connecticut in your gps or google maps and it gets you close. Just go past where the directions end and take a left at the big Town of Morris sign...and look for the duck. |

Thanks guys. I'm looking for my first pike as well. Just picked up my first powered boat, a 17' G3 and this will be its maiden voyage. How is the launch for a newbe? |

I had the hardest time backing up the trailer there...it's a straight road and easy launch but it's far from where you're supposed to park. _________________ Kira

Sorry, brandon72801, I got turned around. Yes, the launch is in the SE corner, on the E shore. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

Speaking of Stacey Keach look-alikes, doesn't Jed with his 5 o'clock shadow and with his fishing hat on looks a little like Tim McGraw??

My wife wanted to take a ride to Litchfield tonight so we swung by Bantam Lake while we were in town. Unfortunately I didn't fish it but we saw your duck buddy near the launch. My wife has decided she wants to get a house on the lake. Now I just need to win the lotto |

Forget lotto...you need to win powerball if you want to pay the property taxes too. Pretty much anyone who's been there wants a house on the lake.
