I am sitting here bored at work. What are the 5 largest fish you have ever caught. Each fish being of a different species. Also which fish has the best story behind it.
Smallest to largest
5. 37lb Common Snook
4. 42lb Striper
3. 90lb Tarpon
2. 225lb Mako ( countless blue sharks in this range but they don`t count)
1. 396lb Thresher
The Thresher was the most memorable for me because my brother (Quint`s Revenge) and I ended up winning the Snug Harbor shark tournament in 99". _________________ The King of Long Island Sound. |

5.Snook 26lbs
4.Striper 53lbs
3.Fluke 9.5 lbs
2.Weakfish 11lbs
1.Tarpon between 130-150#
The one monster i can still see to this day is that huge Mako we had on(on a Penn 30) in Butterfish Hole that we fought for 5 hrs from 1am to 6am and lost right as we were starting to gain line on him. That fish was 800+. It was a heartbreaker to say the least. |
