fished from 12:30-2:00pm. picked up 4 lmb with the largest 2 going 6.2 and 2.4 lbs. all caught on a carolina rigged salamander off the deep weed edge in the north end of the lake.
did not attempt to fish the southern half as the campers were out and i was running out of time...
picture of the 6.2 below.

boy what a difference a day makes....
fished it again last night (8/17 6:30-8:00pm), started fishing in front of the camp. picked up 2 small ones on jigs on the way back to the ramp (one in front of the beach and the other at the north end).
did not get a single nibble until the last 20-30 minutes. threw salamanders, sluggos and jigs in 9' fow or less. |
