Phil, At least you would have chummed the water for some good fishing afterwards!

Yeah, with me in the water I'd probably catch a bull shark. _________________ Don't forget to wear sunscreen and don't litter! |

I'm really surprised nobody has brought up finesse fishing especially this late in the season. You could use it with or without flourescent line and a light. I actually have a light that i'd probably sell if anyone is interested but at any rate. The bass are deeper right now as we all know or should know. Some will go into the shallows for a meal here and there but if I was fishing a big smally lake this year or even large mouth I might finesse it. You will have a better chance of reaching the fish that are buried deep down below the weeds or around rock piles.
I'd always keep a spook, jitterbug, or plug around but I just don't think you'll get the hits you are expecting with that. |

I'm planning to try a jig and a texas-rigged 6-inch Senko today. I might also try a finesse worm on a drop shot. I want to fish deeper in the sunshine. I'll post results.
