Went to Mashapaug this morning from 5:15 - 10:30. The fishing was easy and the hits were often. Between the two of us we landed about 20 Keepers and 5 or 6 shorts. About 10 of the keepers were over 2lbs and there were a few 2.5lbers and a 2lb 12 oz in there too. Throughout the morning the largemouth bite was strong. Only 2 smallmouth were landed. one weighed in at 1lb 6 oz and the other was borderline keeper. The day also included 2 lost fish and three line breaks.

Looks like you did pretty well. My last time out there I only caught a few shorts and one keeper, but It was midday in the blazing heat.

Sounds like a good morning.

What were the surface water temps, what depths were you catching them at, around what cover, and what were you catching them on if you don't mind?

I was panfish's partner today and i do have to say it was a good day on the water. The surface temp varied between 80 and 82 which was pretty warm. We caught the majority of the fish in 10 to 12 ft of water and also some around submerged wood. We used rubber worms bouncing them back to the boat.

DV posted this just this morning:

http://www.ctfishtalk.com/how-to-post-photos-t5359.html

But here are some step-by-step instructions:

1) Go to www.imageshack.us

2) Upload your photo(s). You should resize large photos to a smaller size. I usually go with 640 x 480 pixels.

3) After your photo(s) upload(s), copy the "Direct Link" and paste it into your post.

4) Highlight the link in your post and hit the "Img" button above. The link will display as the photo in your post.
