Sorry for the late post,
Rainbow Res 7/8. After work with Bass Adddict (Justin).
We hit the res around 6pm, not as busy as it can be, we headed to the far end and started fishing at the fork.
Water was in the 80degs, sunny skies and the worst part was the river was still. NO MOVEMENT AT ALL.
Justin and I worked the structures on both sides with spinner baits, jigs, senco's, creature baits everything short of TNT.
If this was a Red Eyed Rock Bass tourney, Justin and I would be GODS.
Justin caught the only LMB and I think it might have tipped the scales at .80 oz.
We worked the river until about 9:00ish until we just gave up and headed home.
My best uneducated guess was because the river wasn't moving so the bite was dead.
Better luck next time. _________________ Sleep...Eat...Fish!!!!! Then do it all over again. |

I am pretty sure I saw you guys at the launch. In the 15 minutes I spent setting up my canoe I must have saw 6-8 boats launch, all water skiers. I had this one wake boarder coming within less than 100 ft of me every pass. I fished in aggravation for 2 hours and caught one rock bass on ds 15 down. |

i have always had better results there when the water is moving. i was there a few weeks back and had similar results. it was hot as hell that day and i dont think much of anything was biting or going to for that matter. i swear on all things holy that my finder was telling me the water was 91 degrees that day. |

DV,
Was that you parked near the ramp fighting with the canoe putting in the same time as us?
It didn't look like you. _________________ Sleep...Eat...Fish!!!!! Then do it all over again. |

Did you notice that I almost fell in at the ramp? I shouldn't have even launched, I hate boat traffic. The rock bass put me over the edge and I called it quits. |
