A nice morning on the water but the lake was dead. NOBODY was catching. Oh well.

Were you in your Porta-Bote? You were out early, so you were fishing shallow, right? What were you throwing?
You should check out Spring Pond. It's a lot closer to you than Congamond.

Yes i was in my portabote, i started in the shallows pitching senko-like worms znd got nothing so i pitched those around on some really good drop-offs and still nothing. I then tried some crankbaits on the drop-offs. Then trolled aound divers. at around 8:30 i went back to senkos in the shallows near weedlines and got skunked.
