I plan on going fishing at the docks and thought it might be a great way to pass the time. Yes while not getting any bites from fish. :\ _________________ I'd rather be fishing, than sitting here in front of this computer,,, |

|
|
I just got back to my older sister's house from Captain Pell's Fairfax Crabhouse in northern Virginia outside of DC. I had a dozen and a half blue crabs. They had some flatscreen TVs with ESPN on to keep me company when my wife, daughter and sister got bored and went home. But I had warned them that it would take me a while to eat my dinner!
I love picking blue crab, but it's slow going. I think I took about 10 minutes per crab. Some of the crabs were nice, but some were very light with very brittle shells. They must have recently molted. It's the wrong season, I guess.

I have never went either, But I also Don't eat anything that come from the water. Its kind of funny for someone who has been fishing for over 35 years. I will catch, clean it, cook it but the fork will never reach my mouth. My girl and the kids love it.

I don't understand Tim, either. Or Derek. Or Kira. Or any of the other non-fish-eating CTFishTalkers.

I was down at the DEP docks this past Monday doing some fishing and trying to catch some crabs. We were using drop lines with chicken and catching them with a net. All of the crabs caught were too small. As usual there was a family there crabbing who I am sure were keeping illegal size crabs. _________________ I'd rather be fishing, than sitting here in front of this computer,,, |
