Got a chance to got out with one of my good friends for a little saltwater action. We left his cottage after work and heded for the race. On the way we ran into some birds who were all over a nice bluefish blitz. We spent some time catching a few blues than headed out for a chance a some bass. We made drift after drift with no luck. I put on a diamond jig and on one of the last drifts of the night got a big hit. I pulled this fish out of 40 ft of water. It was a nice battle. The pic was from a camera phone so it is a little fuzzy
