Hello. The Angler here. I just moved to cheshire, and I'm looking for some good spots to fish from the shore. I mainly fish for LMB, but also will fish for SMB, CB, WA, WP, or CC. I use spinning rods,6-8lb test on 6-7 foot rods. I'll use senko type worms mostly, but will throw an occasional crankbait, swimbait, or topwater lure. I'm not a pro, but not a newbie either. I wouldn't mind co-angling with a SAFE boater looking for a fishing buddy on a local lake. More than willing to pay towards the cost of the outting. Any info about my surrounding area would be a big help.

Thanks in advance. Very Happy

Hey Angler,

I don't have a boat in CT, but I'm planning on heading over to Hanover Pond in Meriden at some point in the next few days. I don't know what the fishing will be like, but I did a quick recon from the shore and it looks to be a place where you can work a good number of weedlines without getting your lure stuck in a tree, so that's good Smile

I'll let you know how it works out!
