I hear great things about weathersfield cove and from the write up in the fisheries guide to ponds and lakes in ct,it sounds like there is some titans in there, i'd like to shore fish it and i'd just like to know what would be good lures to use and where in the cove to shore fish, i was thinking of using swim baits like my storm kickin stick and a strike king wake shad, thanks again guys

As far as I know shore acess is pretty restricted with farm land owners putting up lots of posted signs. Maybe some one else knows some places though.

Turn out I had the cove confused with a different part of the river I had fished years ago. There is some shore access here with some in the cove side and some on the river side. Drifted around the cove a bit in the yak and saw alot of big fishs on the fish finder, mostly in the deeper water around 12ft. Only fished the cove for a bit because the wind was howling and making casting impossible. Pretty much all of the good spots I saw were out of reach to the shore angler.

It's just a way to bump a thread up to the top so the unread thread icons show up again and someone will look at it and respond.

It was nice to meet you yesterday. I didn't have any luck after you left either. Skunk city.
