fished 8:30 - 10:30 and caught 2 lmb (no more than 1-1.5 lbs) on a sluggo and salamander tight to shore in the weeds. losts a couple more reeling in through the weeds. boy those weeds are stringy and tough! I don't need to go back to this place anytime soon.
stopped at black pond on the way home and the place was packed with shore fishermen! parking lot was full. only a couple of boats on the water. we'll have to try that place during the week. |

I think the largemouth bite has been slowing down. I spent four hours on the water today and caught only one.
