If you like fishing deep water with no weeds then West Hill is good but I'm thinking since you want it up that way we should do Park pond or Burr Pond. Both are small lakes under 100 acres but hold good fish and light pressure. |

Uncas in Lyme? That's an hour away!
Don't we all live in central CT? I'll go there if I have to, but damn that seems kind of excessive. We can do this more than once you know!
I vote for Holbrook. _________________ Kira

You're welcome to row all you want. My oars are retired from full-time work. Now they're on-call for lure retrieval, docking, and smacking you in the head. _________________ Kira

Pickerel had a lot of pickerel in it during the tourney. I went back there again, stayed until after dark and couldn't believe the topwater action. Best night scenario this year so far. If I could have seen what I was unhooking, I would have stayed until the sun came up. Launch area was pitch black too...highly recommended for a night gathering.
I went to Upper Bolton last year...that is one crazy-looking place. It reminded me of a Tim Burton movie. I don't remember what I caught.
I don't know where Colombia and Ashford are, so my vote is still for Holbrook. _________________ Kira
