Went back to the scene of last weeks fun on Saturday and fished the mouth of the river again.
This time it was much more crowded - as to be expected with reports of fish in. The weather was warmer and we fished the outgoing tide starting around 1pm but didnt have as much luck only landing a few that day, all off of trolled tubes.
Sat in with the pack of boats casting swim baits for a while but no takers then went back to trolling. Managed to land this keeper but only by an inch or two so he went back.
Maybe some other boats had more luck but I really didn't see to many coming out of the water that time of day. Perhaps someone can liven it up and post more of a success story, but as always it was a fun trip.
