Fished in my kayak out of Deep River for a couple of hours,..got 2 stripers as the sun broke out of the clouds. Essentially, I just paddled around here & there casting or trolling as I went. Both fish (27 & 28") came by casting a pencil popper to where I saw something get nailed on the surface! Also had a few bumps while trolling a tube & worm,..but nothing wanted that enough to really bite. I think I could have gotten more if I stayed longer,..but I forgot to put suncreen on my pasty-white body before i went out and I didn't want to press my luck! ![Rolling Eyes](images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif) _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

Nice work from the kayak! I forgot the sunscreen too but wasn't as smart and now I have the sunburn to prove it.
