There are no words to describe the severity of the bug situation going on here. They love the deepwoods off. Nice day though...where is everyone?
P.S. The DEP is here. _________________ Kira

Caught 5 largies...nothing spectacular though. The bugs were brutal.
I've had to show my fishing license 3 times so far this year. Geez Louise! _________________ Kira

I was at lower bolton this afternoon also, and they those may flies, Thats what i am assuming them to be where beyond terrible. It got to a point that I didn't even swat at them anymore.
Didn't see any DEP when i went, must have just left, got there around 5:15. _________________ "Come after Me, and i will make you to become fishers of men"

Mayflies seem logical. They must have had May 1 circled on their tiny calendars, and today was their big party. I got there around 7 a.m. and had them flying around my head for 8 hours. Not sure when the DEP left, but I know they couldn't tolerate those bugs longer than me. From now on I'm just gonna hand out flyers containing my license # and my thoughts on the channel cat stocking program.
You also missed some sort of kayaking event...not sure what the situation was exactly, but apparently the whole state received kayaking lessons today. The notion that some people need to "learn" how to paddle a kayak across a calm lake boggles my mind. I heard one of the "students" get yelled at for not being able to maneuver 180 degrees. After their lessons, they were set loose to repeatedly cross my line because I had myself a small area with some nice shade...and everyone started moving in on it. Oops...did my jig wind up in your forehead?
Rough day...how'd you do?
You down with DEP (Yeah you know me) 3X
Who's down with DEP (This whole party)
Reciting that helped somewhat. _________________ Kira

I went to gardner and they had some kids doing a survey and checking license numbers. |

Last time I went i got eaten alive on the rocks. Fishing from shore is near impossible right now, I almost always bring my canoe now.
What is the water temp right now? Bass fishing was kinda slow for me last time. |
