Went out for the first time this season in the kayak. Placed it in at the boat ramp at Indian Well State Park. It was moderately windy out, I was throwing a Rapala Clackin' rap in shad color and what do you know on the third cast wammy! My first bass of the season and it was the biggest I have ever caught.
I didnt take my scale with me today, but I swear it had to be from 6-8 lbs.I was so pumped I almost tipped over my kayak.
Take a look, good luck to you all as well.

Congrats on the very nice bass!
Is that a Pelican kayak? It looks like the same one I've had in storage for a few years. Never fished from it because I had no idea what to do with all of my gear...and how to access it if it's behind me. _________________ Kira

It is a pelican, very small easy to manuever, but not a lot of space at all for gear. _________________ -Get your Pole Wet- |
