Hey so ive been reading around the internet today for info on why you use a certain type of fishing line and didn't find too much. can someone explain what each type is for and pro's and con's of the types? like can fish see braid. what is best for baitcaster/spining in fresh/ salt water. what should be used for jigs etc. thanks in advance if u post a reply |

most lines people use today are...braid, copolymer (nylon like mono) and fluorocarbon. not one line is good for all aspects of bass fishing. there is pros and cons to all of them. starting out your best bet is to start with a copolymer line, it is the most managable and costs less, unless you are fishing heavy vegetation with a frog then braid is almost a must. here is a linkto different lines and uses..
