Here are a few nice ones from todays trip. I only caught Pike . As you can see my boys kicked some ass....as usual. I was pretty much the net bitch

fished from 9am-12pm

6.25 lbs

Almost a 5 lb

3 lbs
[img][/img]
4lbs. Whata belly!

All together we had several Pike and 7 or 8 nice Bass

Caught them all on Rattle Traps and suspending Jerk Baits in 8-12 FOW.
Natural colors and red eyed shad

Water temps 48-50

Water Stained, but not the typical Bantam Green

Southwest wind as usual.....white caps

We caught them in all the normal spots, Nothing at all in front of Beverly's

Most of the action was pretty lathargic

Tried throwing a jig but with the wind......back of the boat....and two other guys....Naaaa

Wow...Very nice bass! I should have gone to bantam instead of moodus. I'm now far too ashamed to post my fishing report. Confused

Is the Bantam boat launch open to the public again? Or did you launch up at Point Folly?

We launched out of Point Folly, It's pretty funky. It will get worse as the water drops. I think in another week or two, the northwest lakes should be jammin.
Can't wait to get on Tyler and Twin

Oh.....and there was no one in the store to take money. Not sure how thats workin.

Ya I scoped out that launch when I was ice fishing up there. I'd rather just park where the campgrounds are and then lift my 12ft tin can over the rocks and launch for free. Thats what I do at Twin any ways. I think that whoever bought there fishing licenses this year should be able to launch at any lake for FREE!

That place always produced some nice bass even when it was having tourney's every week,..so I'm not suprised to see that kind of report from there now that it's been restricted for a while,..but that's still a heck of a day! Nice to see some decent smallies outta there for a change also!! Very Happy
