First cast of the season last Saturday. Started around 4pm and didn't get hooked until 6:45pm off a watermelon yum creature in the weeds.
Two more after that in the shallows/tree stumps near an incoming brook. Those two were caught with a pumpkin lizard. All three were small; only totaling around 1.5lbs.
Not much, yet it did feel good to get to the water's edge. Good luck! |
