Everybody thats fishing this tourny, please try to arrive at 6am so we could get papers signed and take the money, get boats in the water, there is an 8 mph speed limit on this lake, We will be drawing boat #ers so theres no racing to spots, boat # 6 will make sure boats leave in order. We will do that at the Lilly tourny also, except the speed limits a little faster This is a 5 fish limit, must be at least 12 inches, NO LIVE BAIT KIRA we will fish from 7am to 3pm. Non Boaters please bring your life jackets, or confirm with your partner so he has an extra one. There is no drinking (alcohol) during tourny. Winner takes all, plus whoever catches the biggest fish will take lunker. Boaters please have a fish bag, dont bring your fish to weigh in without a bag, Fish that are caught belong to the tourny director and will be released. Get in touch with your partner and confirm it with me, thanks JIM

Boat #1 will be "racing" to that little cove on the left of the launch.

I solemnly swear that nothing I rig will have a pulse. What kind of barbecue sauce do you think bass prefer on their baby back ribs? Hickory? Mesquite? Honey?

Flippy - As I'm sure you're aware, there's another (thong-friendly) way to become intoxicated by alcohol besides drinking it.
Everyone: Be sure to finish your drinks on the drive over. Nothing quite like Jager bombs while driving on Rte. 2 at 5:30 a.m.
Phish: This is my first tourney, so I don't really know what's expected of me. Is it the co-angler's responsibility to bring the bong/hookah? _________________ Kira

Yes, but it should generally be wrapped in camo. I prefer Realtree.
For those that don't know me...I'm kidding around.

Sorry, Phish. I probably should have sent that as a PM...Now everyone knows why the bass will be following us around and striking at Funyuns (obviously, they're a very slow-retrieve topwater lure.)
Camo is lovely pattern, but wouldn't it make more sense to blend it in with the boat 's color scheme instead of the background, which will be constantly changing?
I didn't get any fishing in yesterday so I need to head out today before the withdrawal symptoms begin. I'm thinking Silver, Bolton, Beseck. (never been there)...something close.. Any recommendations? _________________ Kira

I've only fished Bolton and Silver from that list. I'd go Bolton. |

I'd go to Silver while you can still get around there! Also there's some pretty nice fish in Batterson! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

I did fish jigs there Thursday, but I didn't do so great. Where are all of these smallmouths everyone is catching? Eventually a perch saved me from the shutout, but I resorted to live bait to get it.
No shame. _________________ Kira
