I'm on it right now. I don't know the water temperature, but there are kids SWIMMING in it! The water is actually clear and fairly calm. Gorgeous day to be out. There are only a few canoes and kayaks on the water (and my dinghy.)
My trolling motor works great...well worth the trouble of registering the boat & getting certified! _________________ Kira

I totally forgot I posted this thread from my phone. Well, I probably stayed in the deeper areas way too long, plus the excitement of not rowing may have actually resulted in less fishing. Damn, that was fun. The water was perfectly clear around the edges, and there were no fish that I could see. My "fishfinder" picked up some activity in the middle, depth of 17 feet, so I tried my luck with diving lures and assorted soft plastics. No bites, so I figured they were channel cats and not smallies. I didn't want to get shut out, so I sent a LIVE nightcrawler down to the bottom, which resulted in a yellow perch almost instantaneously. Yes, I know that's cheating. _________________ Kira
