Today my buddy and I went to our little spot which we like to call Rock Hollow Pond. I was able to finally catch my first bass of the season slow rolling a black and chartreuse spinner bait. The fish was about 15 inches long and weighed about 2 pounds according to my buddies scale which he got for Christmas. It was just a great feeling to finally get a fish this year. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

It's a great feeling, and yes skeeter, we were fishing from shore, I ordered a plug for the boat I got, just waiting for it to come in the mail. I can't wait to get out in the boat for the first time this year. Does anyone know aht I need if I'm just rowing? Life vest and what else, it's a 14 footer aluminum. |
