Took the afternoon off and went to Pickeral Lake. I think they must have sprayed the weeds there because all of a sudden it's an open lake with almost no weedgrowth anymore! I was throwing a tube, a jig and a swimbait. Ended up with 11 bass and 1 pickeral. Most of the bass were decent like this 2.5 lber
But the best of the day was this one that went 5.0#
Most of the bass came from lily pads or assorted cover along the shoreline except for 2 on the swimbait which were more out in the open! _________________ "If people concentrated more on the really important things in life there'd be a shortage of fishing poles."

Nope,..the biggun was on my usual black jig,..out of the middle of a large lilypad field! The two swimbait fish were only about 2lbs each.
