gotta love that i do start in april i never seem to get keepers though i fish the housy and sand bars in west haven im shore bound wish i had a boat to cover more area |

Hey man.
Im thinkin you wanted to reply to a post, yet created a new one...
Just guessing, but are you talkin about Stripers???
IF you are limited to where your feet can take ya, and are familiar with the Housy,
on the Milford side, get out past the Bird-Nerd place, and down toward Milford point. Stripers like it around that tip... IF you can get to what the locals call "the low stones", that may be even better...
I dont know how they do it, but I see the fly-guys in that area quite a bit.
No offense to anyone on the "bird-nerd" comment... I am one among them. |

if you wanna venture East ward, the mouth of the CT isn't too bad for you foot soldiers... Right under the train tressel, (exit 70 then follow signs to great neck) there is a nice walk way, stripers like that area, or you can try your luck around/under RT 95, although not much walkin there due to fences and marinas. |
