hahahahaha....I was just playing flippy...no reason to get you thong in a bunch.
I can't blame skeeterron for all of a sudden "having to work" and dropping out. I mean after seeing pairings like chuck and next level and me and jester I would drop too...lmao
just playin skeeter...that sucks that you have to work. I had to go through a scheduling nightmare to be able to fish this. see you at the next one hopefully.
O and sniper...make sure you shine those cabelas baits up real nice cause after they don't catch anything for you cabelas has a strict return policy... _________________ You can play on your computer and hang out with your girlfriend if you want....Im gonna go fishin. |

that would explain all the fruit loops in this tourney _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.

i brought this up to flippy and he said it was up to the field as i thought it would be as well so here it goes;
i have that compre still posted for sale and didnt know if you guys would have an interest in doing a big fish pool for that plus a cash price. basically how i explained it to flippy was say everyone (10 boats; 20 guys) did $5 a piece for big fish then thats $200 in winnings. if i was putting the rod up for the price then thats really not fair to who ever got it because A the rod is not worth $200 and B where would the rest of the money go to; so the thought was- i have it posted at $70 currently. either that $70 comes out of the pool and the winner gets the rod and the remaining money; OR i could drop another $20 off the rod and make it a rod plus a larger pot for the winner...... all im looking for currently is to make alittle back on a mistake buy at the last expo and doing something like this for the tournament works for me whether $50 or 70
if no one agrees; no one wants the rod; or no one cares about the posting then forget about it and we can either just fish the straight tournament or fish the tournament plus a big fish pool with a normal cash pool and i just end up winning it all anyways
so whatever you guys want; just thought to throw something into the start of the season and have fun with this one- make it work for everyone; your calls |

Haha. Nice-
alot of it is trial and error. Some is things to hold me over until something else is availble or cause there's a deal on something. Sometimes it's cause of what I'm doing at the time. Sometimes it's cause I think I can manage with it.
I love the rod and if it doesn't sell will keep it. The only reason I wanted to sell it was cause it's 6'6" vs 7'. Some guys like the shorter rods better. I honestly can't stand anything under 6'8"-6'10". It's a few inches but it's noticable and there's pros to a shorter rod like tight areas and under trees and such but I just never liked them. I sold off alot of baits and stuff because I bought up a bunch of shit last year and basically figured out what I liked and used most. Colors brands sizes. What was really needed on the tournament trails.
I fish as a co angler so currently I need to focus more on downsizing the crap I carry and what I can get out of each rod. I gave up my ds rod to justforfun last year because of the lack of use at the time and limits of what I could throw on it. Wish I didn't but it's all about what works and saving money in the end.
Though I've definatly spent enough of it throughout
regardless. I don't care what happens to the rod and this tournament. It was a thought and suggestion. Looking forward to starting the year off. Haven't been able to get out yet and everything has been hell so definatly due for a break and good time on the water. |

I definently think a optional 5 dollar per person lunker pool would be cool.
I have no use for that rod...sorry.
Finally have everything spooled and am ready to go...short notice and alot of rods to spool with floro really hurts the bank account....lol _________________ You can play on your computer and hang out with your girlfriend if you want....Im gonna go fishin. |
