i went to mondo pond today thinking i wasnt going to catch much. the first few hours i had no luck but i switched to my neon yellow jerkbait. (sorry i dont know what company makes them). anyway i got a nice 3 and 4 pounder within 15 minutes of eachother. however the rest of the day i didnt have the same luck. So if you live in the milford area i suggest you grab your poll and head out on the water ASAP. i would also suggest casting near the big boulders that are around the pond, thats where i got my 2 bass. and fish very SLOW!! Tight lines. |

There may also be some access to parts of the shore you usually don't get when the foliage gets thick. Plus a lot less shenanigans this time of year - I've been fishing and I've seen ATVs on the little trails and airsoft BBs all over the ground, plus piles and piles of trash |
