| Spent the day at Mt.Tom, fished about 10ft deep on all the tip ups and had only one flag. very slow day for most of the people i spoke to on the lake. As i was leaving i seen a sign for a ice fishing derby this up coming sunday the 28th, does anyone have any more info on this derby? Time, prizes,etc..Thanks gUys |

| someone at one of the bait shops told me that they are going to release a tagged fish, and if you catch it, it is a $1,000 prize! that is all the information i know, probably wasn't much of a help. |

| I have flyers at the bait shop and can check specific details tomorrow for you. If I remember correctly, the derby runs from 8:00 am to 1:00pm. Prizes will be awarded for largest trout, bass, and pickerel. One tagged fish is in there and is worth $1000.00 if caught. There are phone numbers on the flyers if you need them (let me know and I will get them for you). The bait shop at Cozy Hills Campground (just down the road from Mt Tom) will be opened at 5:00 am for bait if you need it. |

| It is the Ousatonic Fish and Game Club FEB 28 on Mt Tom. Tagged fish $1000, Largest Trout $250, Bass $150, Pickerel $150. Register 7 am Fish 8 AM TO 1 PM $25 to enter. Call 203 788 6142 for more info. |

| I fished mount tom during the derby and ended up winning the biggest picerol. it was 20inches and weighed 1lb 14oz. i know someone at the derby took a picture of the fish and i was wondering if they could email me it? |
