I fished it today. Caught 2 chain pickerel both mid 20s and two pike both high 20s ice varys from 12 inches to 1 inch. All the old holes are about twice the size. My buddy fell in 3x today up to his waist because he steppin in a snow covered hidden hole. I got lucky but had some very close calls walking out there. The shoreline is mush so be ready to fall in or bring 2 8ft planks, and there is about 2 inches of water out in Northbay all over. The ice is good just the mines will swallow you if you do not pay close attention to each step you take. A few out in southbay when I drove by but I bet there are more mines out there compared to Northbay... |
