#1-"I set the hook so hard i pulverized the bass's brain"..heard a guy tell us this at the ramp one day..
#2-We had a limit but decided to let them go cause it wasnt enough weight to win.....this was said by a team during a really tuff event on the ct river in late july...turns out they blanked...
#3-(most popular)" I dropped a ..insert weight here...pounder at the boat that would have won the tournament for us....i think we are all guilty of this one.

I love the responses of , the water was to rough or their was to much boat traffic, or it is suppose to rain hard, as for losing fish it happens to everybody, letting fish go before tourny ends,(ive done that),depends on how big a tourny, on state level 1 fish is not going to cut it in the 2 day, unless its a lunker, on the final day. My stratos with a 150 does 60 to 61 gps, Ive seen boats with 150 do mid to low 60s never 75. |

LOL Jim it's too funny..... I hear it every year when a guy buys a new boat with a 150.... I laugh and as I blow them away at 78, then later on when we get back I tell them I passed them at 65..... lol They even try to say that they used a GPS for their speed lol too funny
And yes Johnny an Allison will.... I think Danny's hit 85 or something crazy when he had one. It goes 120 now with the 250.... he's psycho!! |
