Fished at quaddick yesterday (2-11) had a great day. Ice was 11-12 inches thick and not as windy as I thought it would be. Caught 2 pike and three pickerel, fished around to 10-12 feet in depth and set the bait 3-4 feet below the ice. |

It was my first time out for Pike and now I can't wait till I catch the next one. I was using tip-ups with largers shinners. |

They are a fun fish to catch. Live or dead bait dosen't seem to matter. |

Nice man! i live about 5 min away from quaddick, ive never ice fished it but i fish there a lot in the summer and have caught many good size pike and bass there. It's great fishing, the only thing i don't like is how choked it gets in the summer with weeds. my profile pic is actually from quaddick and it's my personal best largie 5lb8oz |

It's seems to be a good spot Basswacka, little bit of a hike from the road now thats its winter but still worth it. If I end up getting a boat this spring I plan on hitting it up for some bass. It seems like they dropped the water level down, possibly to kill some of those weeds. |

yeah man, even with all the boat pressure there seems to always be some bass biting. You can fish there year round so if you get a small jon boat you can launch down a little side road past the launch and get some fishing in early in the season before all the boat traffic. |

yea billybass thats the one, i think they must stock it with pike because theres a sh!t load of them in there. My dad got one this past year that was 9+ pounds, and i'm sure theres bigger ones in there as well but that was the biggest pike ive ever seen in person. |

Yeah he got it in the summer not through the ice. Believe it or not he got it using 12 pound floro, it put up a hell of a fight and somehow didn't get it's teeth on the line. Thats luck for ya. |
