Okie from down south, moved here a few months ago. Now that I have my feet on the ground, I need to find the spots.
Have fished all my life, mostly farm ponds, lakes, Colorado trout, Alaska and Canada for the big stuff.
Have a 9-yr-old stepson who loves to fish, and I mostly want to find a place we can go for him.
Would like to do some ice-fishing this today and tomorrow, if we can find a place (I'm not much of an ice fisherman, from the south, but I hear minnows work fine).
Any ideas?
Thanks |

Okie minnows do work well what part of the state do you want to fish. I would visit CT DEP web site and check out the fishing guide for spots near you. The guide has a list of ponds, any special regulations and species found in the pond. What type of ice fishing gear do you have? |
