Spent the morning on mansfield, and listened to all who gave me input ,some days u get some some u dont, I set up on the right of the second island about 100 -150 ft out, me and my buddy had the area locked down with tipups,Had a nice fire, and relaxed but no flags, some riged right below the ice some right off the bottom with med and large shiners, changeing the position every 2 hrs but hey what can u do , but I have a decent amount of shiners left and I will use tomorrow somewhere..ice was 8-10 inches and quad trails every were, lower half of mansfield wide open.

Thanks for the report BillyBass Sad . I was thinking about going there tomorrow but maybe I'll hold off and focus on some different ice.

Did you fish at sunrise or later in the day? Suprised you didn't get action with the little snow storm that came in this morning.

hey billybass, was my fire still warm this morning when you got there? we were in that same area yesterday with a broken auger. we had to chip 30 holes. you must have seen them. we used some holes that were already there so the ice was only 3 inches or so in those spots but pounding thru 8in kinda sucked............. Very Happy small ponds rule Very Happy
