hello CTfishtalk!
My name is Jake and im 15 years old and an avid bass fisherman. Im new to this site so im hoping to learn and share news with everyone. I have fished 5 club tournamnets this year with my ranger and won one of them and getting third in another. I fished some fed. tournys on candlewood this fall also learning the lake very well. Im writing this just to tell a little about myself and i wanted to tell everyone that i got a BIG(meaning the whole page) picture in The Fisherman a few back. I was gonna write an article on here about candlewood but i cant figure out how to upload pics to these topic things. So in the december 10th, 2009 issue of The Fisherman there is a pic of me with a very large smallmouth. If you have seen it please tell me what you think. ALSO IF YOU KNOW OF ANY OPEN TOURNAMENTS PLEASE LET ME KNOW I WOULD LOVE TO DO THEM.
I know this is a bad post but please give me some input so i can imrpove my writing. and please someone help me learn to upload pics to these topic things. i promise the next one will not be about me it will be about FISHING and only FISHING! |

nothin wrong w your post, other than that its in the bass fishing reports section. Should be in the new members section but whatever.
Welcome to the site; people post tourneys on here ALL the time and you will have no issue finding action here.
The site really has a great group of guys (and girls) who are willing to share successfull tips, great information, and who will even partner with you to go fish a tourney or for pleasure.
Again, welcome and look forward to hearing more from you in the future. _________________ Screw work....I wanna fish

Jake welcome to the site. You must be doing alright....15 years old and a Ranger owner. You must have delivered alot of newspapers or cut a shit load of lawns for awhile before getting your boat.

Welcome aboard dude.
You may be "above" us... not so sure how many of us are on the path to bein Pro's...
This site is cool, the guys are cool, but best kept secret spots seem to be safe out here.
I typically divulge most of my info on posts, but you will see alot of "my favorite local pond", which really narrows things down... to "was fishing".
Im not a Candy Lake fisherman either, but I beat the piss out of the CT river between March and late November. IF Im not buzzin it lookin for bass pike or stripers in my Tracker , Im rollin down it, headed to the salt in my Wellcraft.
And if Im not fishin it, Im put-puttin in my duck boat, and throwin blocks before dawn. Hit my fair share of lakes ponds too.
Im Always lookin for someone to take the co-pilot seat... and if you got a bass boat, I got no probs fishin from the back either. |
