anyone else going to be there on Saturday? The weather is supposed to be beautiful. I can't wait. _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.

I'm not fishing the tournament because I'm too much of a novice and would be fishing from shore...but I was up there on Monday and the place was pretty empty and it was tough fishing (well it was for me which isn't saying much)
I fished some pads and grass areas and only saw one boat the whole time. At least I got to put my baitcaster into action......hopefully it will be better for you. |

the fishing is going to be tough this time of year anywhere especially with the cold front we been having. I think the lake will probably be in turn over mode which is going to make it a tough bite. I am always up for the challenge though.
anyone know how to get there from hartford? _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.

The easiest way is 91N to the airport exit Rt.20. Get off the Rt. 75 exit on the connector and head north into Suffield. Take a left onto mountain rd. (rt.168) takes you right to it. |

John (NX 882 Bass) caught at least 17 keepers with the smallest being in the 2.5lb range and came in second with 21lbs+. First place was 22lbs. There was only a couple ounce different between 1st and 2nd.
It was a cold long day for me as I got nada (yes, I suck), but I did get to watch John put on a show. That tourney was run very well. Cmond is a nice lake too, I will definitely be hitting that place next spring. _________________ Sorry honey, looks like we will be late again due to motor problems.

Wow! Nice job putting fish in the boat. I never would have guessed that would be the weight with the weather we had. |
