quick version................fishing was slow and bites were few and far between.
biggest fish were a 2lb smallie and largie and everything is else was just over 12". keepers but that was about it. maybe 12 fish between 2 guys for a 6 hour effort. couldnt get on until 10:00 and was off at 4. fish scattered and not where i thought they would be. fish here and there and one or two spots gave up a few fish each. all on dropshot worms in differant colors and most fish came from deeper water. 5 million kyakers there in some club today. all over 60!!! Rolling Eyes it was a show. they are part of some kyakers club. Rolling Eyes

question:
saw a million little fry around today. also found some wood that was covered in hug white blobs of what apperead to be eggs.some where the size of a soccer ball. saw big balls of small fry around them. anybody have any clue as to what kind of fish would be hatching righ now? there were thouands of them. about 1/2" long. even the dock had a ball under it at the ramp.

I saw a bunch of white blobs all of fallen trees in white oaks cove. It looked like alien life form. I don't think they are eggs, well at least not what I saw, it looks like some kind of vegetation or gremlin pods Laughing

these blobs were white in color and formed by thousands of small balls.
certainly did not look like any type of weed or algea to me. they were on sunken fallen trees that were sitting 5' under the water. it was wierd. still wondering what all the fry were.
