Haven't posted in a while. Hope all is well back in CT.
Had a chance to fish with my son this past weekend. He's going to be starting his Junior year of college at USC this Friday. His Mom already has seperation anxiety.. 
Fished a great pond about 5 minutes from my house. Not a big pond, maybe the size of Amos lake back in CT. This lake has a good poulation of big bass in it.
My son caught this nice bass on 8lb test. Weighed in at 7lbs 8 oz. Looked way bigger. I'm sure in the Spring it would push 9lbs easy. Caught on a shakey head with a green pumpin Zoom speed worm.
This is where he let me hold it...

oh yeah, bass was released. Swam away strong after a few pics. Should have seen the look on these 2 guys when we let her go.
