fished beseck with stratos17 today from 530 to 910. the day was slow and spaced out. threw some topwater to start and had nothing some moved to some soft plastics, jigs, and rattle traps/ crankbaits.
stratos17 picked up a chunky bullhead on a grub in some wood. alittle ways down i picked up the first bass of the morning on a tube and after that we hit another dry spell. after awhile stratos found his first bass on senko and right after his i caught one on a series 4s crankbait. then yet again a pause. went to a spot with a patch of weeds and started throwing a spro pop frog and did get a blow up in the sense...... only it was not what you'd want; nice size bull frog took down the kermit
as the rest of the time went on stratos continued with the senko and a senko knock off that i gave him and he boated another 2 bass. i picked up 1 more at the end on rattle trap giving us 6 together for the day. i also missed a nice "something" on buzzbait right by the boat; going to guess a pike by the colors and way it came up.
fun day out and though slow its better than no fish |

A trouble free fishing trip!! Nice morning! The bite seemed like it was getting better, Our last three came @8:45-9:00. who knows. All fish about the same size, 1lb to 1.5 lb. Healthy fish, nothing to take a picture of. I'd like to try Beseck at night.
Water temp 75 deg. Air Temp @ 5:30 was around 60 deg. Visability 1 foot, pretty stained!! 2 other boats on lake.
Most of are fish were holding on docks |

another thing i didnt mention but was interesting to see..... we were following the shoreline and came to a spot where we thought a nice size snapper was sunning on the sand. after a few cast by it and one over it we came to realize it was dead. just found it odd how perfect it was "sitting" there and it ended up dying.. |
