My family and I spend usually a week for the last couple of years on Pachaug. With prefrontal conditions today I couldnt resist but to take advantage of what I thought would be a decent day of fishing (even for here). Started off the day late morning with a couple of topwater fish, one just that just kept and one around the 2# mark. Took a break for an hour or two and headed out for another hour. Hit one of the coves with scatterd pads ( happened to be in the same area the other two fish came from). started with topwater again and swimming a 4" hollowbelly with no sucess. Started flipping the pads and was rewarded with a 5 lber dead nuts on the berkley digital. Pics will come up later when i get them off my phone.

Earlier this week in the same cove i pulled out a just over 4 from the same area.
Checked out the weigh in of the open at the ramp last night and ran into member Densik. Nice meeting you the Dennis and congratss again on the win.
