Had a few hours to kill before going to a weddiing.
Knocking then dead on anything black with red flake. I stopped counting after 20. All between 1-2lbs.
That lake is really starting to pick up. Not a bad trip, going back tomarrow afternoon. _________________ Sleep...Eat...Fish!!!!! Then do it all over again. |

Thanks guys,
Bass, it is very weedy. that's where I was. dragging the plastic's over the thick weeds and letting it fall into the holes.
I went back Sunday afternoon, with two buddies. This time I took the Skeeter, the bite was still on, in two hours we counted 27 bass. They were very aggressive, just tearing up the plastics.
I used up two bags of creature baits. Only one slime dart.
Mostly 1-2lbs, but verry fun for a few hours. We left when the jet skiers showed up.
I can't remember SIlver Lake every being this good for bass. But hey, I'm ok with it.
I did see one of the bucket fishermen had I would say about a 4lber in the bucket she caught using shinners. _________________ Sleep...Eat...Fish!!!!! Then do it all over again. |

Well this lake is like 140 acres. Bass fishing I give it a 4 out o4 10. The best time to fish Silver Lake is early spring. Get on the water early because water skiing in the summer picks up around noon. _________________ Throw your line out and get it wet, because you never know what you are going to catch. |
