fished from around 6 to 10ish. first fish came quick on a crankbait (small catfish but he didnt get in the boat so i wouldnt count him) a cast after i caught a small bass under some cover on the shore line on the same crankbait; after that it went dead.... threw everything from crankbaits to spinnerbiats, senkos, poppers, rattlebaits, worms, jigs, creatures; nothing
had a few follows from pickerals and one grab a finesse worm but just wouldnt hook up; wasnt till around 930 that i ended up with a nice 2lb 13oz largemouth on the crankbait again; fish was barely hooked and i went around my porta bote maybe three times to tired him out and keep him from jumping.
slow day but it was good to get something after all this rain

Nice Largie..That place is one of the only lakes that gives me fits when I fish it....Something about it and me..It just won't give it up. Can you keep me informed about any smallie under 12" you catch there please.
